A live EvolutionLabs collaboration
We are not making content for a videographer.
We are building the studio around one.
Nazil Ramovic is a videographer from Heerlen with an unusual eye and an unusually long record of it working: hundreds of millions of views, one camera, one signature. EvolutionLabs builds the brand, the academy and the production company around that craft, so the work stops depending on one calendar.
Case 02·Building in public·Outcome still open

A quarter of what people watch this year is generated. Stock footage, voice overs and explainer videos are now cheaper to render than to shoot.
That is not the threat. That is the floor being removed.
What remains is the part nobody can render: a person, a room, a product in real hands, the second that only happens once. An audience recognises the difference in about two seconds.
Gets cheaper
Gets rarer
The vision
Live action is not a format. It is a position.
If the market fills with things nobody filmed, being the person who was actually there stops being a craft and becomes an advantage.
Before EvolutionLabs, the offer was video. Video is a market with a thousand sellers and a price that keeps falling. The brand we are building sells something narrower and harder to copy: one director, one standard, one day that returns a film and a month of publication.
Live action, not generated.
Cinematic, not corporate.
One hand from concept to final cut.
Delivered at the speed of the screen.
The positioning
Live action, content engine.
Not a videographer with a showreel. A single operator who can be booked monthly and trusted with the way a company looks.
Price
Agreed before the shoot, never after.
First cut
In 48 hours, while the story is still warm.
Output
One film plus a month of vertical cuts from the same day.
A promise only earns trust when it is expensive to break. These three cost Nazil something every time, which is why they work.
Heerlen, Netherlands·500M+ views shot and cut·One shoot day, one director·Companies, athletes, collectives
A camera can be bought in an afternoon. An eye is accumulated over years of watching people until you know what they will do next.
Nazil already has the second thing. The academy exists to write down the method behind it, and to put other people on set until it becomes theirs: how to read a room, how to light a face that is not used to being filmed, how to find a story that survives a 20 second cut and a two minute film from the same footage.
Not a course. A way in.
How it runs
On real sets with real clients. Carrying, watching, learning how a room is read.
Second camera on paid productions. Judged on the frame, not on the attendance.
Their own shoot day, under the same standard and the same 48 hour promise.
Small cohorts, run in Heerlen, filmed on live productions rather than in a classroom. The best of each group stays in the roster.
Craft
Taught on paid sets, not on slides.
Method
The same standard applied shot for shot.
Roster
The graduates become the crew.
Two audiences, one standard. A company needs to look the way it actually feels. An athlete needs a story that makes people care before the result. The same eye serves both, and neither has to wait for a trend to pass.

The venture is not to shoot more. It is to make the same day of shooting worth more, without turning the work into a template.
Freelance video is priced per project, which means every month starts at zero and every quiet month is a lost month.
The shift is structural. The same shoot day becomes a film, a month of vertical cuts and a set of stills, sold as a repeating relationship instead of a one-off delivery.
A retainer is not a discount. It is a calendar that can be planned.
The academy earns when he is not shooting.
The crew makes a second and third shoot possible in the same week.
The archive keeps earning long after the delivery.
The objective is not more projects.
It is a studio that can carry its own weight.
Key metric
Recurring share of income
How much of the studio's monthly income arrives before a single new client says yes? That number decides how much risk Nazil can take with the work itself.
Not a plan for a pitch. A sequence.
One signature, one offer, one price, said clearly.
Monthly retainers with a first cut in 48 hours.
First cohort on live sets in Heerlen.
Trained operators shooting to the same standard.
A production house that does not need him on every set.
Nothing moves because a date arrives. It moves when the work repeats without him standing in the room.
The same principle EvolutionLabs applies everywhere: evidence before escalation.
The camera was never the problem.
Nazil can already make something worth watching. What was missing is what surrounds it: a brand people can describe, a method other people can learn, and a company that does not restart every January.
That is the build. The films keep getting better while the structure keeps getting steadier.

Next case
We build one or two of these at a time, with the person as the source.
