A live EvolutionLabs collaboration
Twenty years of craft.
A stage that finally matches it.
Nessa Pestova is a hair expert, international educator and salon coach from Heerlen. Two decades behind the chair, an official Mounir educator seat trained in Dubai, a salon of her own and a team raised inside her standard. EvolutionLabs builds the name that carries all of it.
Case 03·Building in public·Outcome still open

Nessa has been pioneering in the Dutch and international hair circuit for years. She fixes colour other stylists turn away. She teaches for a professional brand, on stages and in salons. She has coached hundreds of salons, and still does. And she runs a business with a team that carries her standard.
All of that recognition lives inside the profession. In front of the market, she is still described as a hairdresser with a salon.
The problem was never the work. It is the framing. A person who has raised the standard of an industry should not have to explain why she is worth the price.
20+ years behind the chair
Official Mounir Educator NL, trained in Dubai
Hundreds of salons coached, and still coaching
Colour correction specialist
Owner of LNI Hairdesign, Heerlen
Team of four stylists trained in her standard
First in Heerlen with the Jaguar CareCut
A record that strong, held quietly, is a strategic loss.
01
One name, one line, one signature.
02
Her craft documented, transformation by transformation.
03
LNI redesigned as the physical argument.
04
A joint venture that carries the method.
EvolutionLabs is here to give Nessa the stage and the recognition she has already earned. Four moves, in sequence, none of them decoration.
Three things currently compete for the same attention: the salon, the person and the educator. A client books a salon. A stylist follows a person. A salon owner buys an educator. Each needs its own voice, and all three have to sound like the same standard.
The authority
Hair expert, international educator, salon coach. The name that signs the standard.
The proof
The room in Heerlen where the claim is verified every working day.
The method
Where the technique leaves her hands and becomes teachable.
The line
One standard. Three worlds.
It is already true. The brand just has to say it in one breath, and then prove it everywhere: the site, the salon, Instagram, the training room, the invoice.
What we build: positioning, wordmark and typography, editorial photography, a site led by the person rather than the price list, and a colour correction signature that people can name.
From hairdresser to hair expert
The craft gets a category, not just a compliment.
From salon owner to salon coach
Her commercial knowledge becomes a service.
From educator to authority
The stage stops being borrowed from a brand.
None of this invents a new person. It stops hiding the one who is already there.
The work already exists. Colour corrections on hair other salons refused. Blonding that keeps the integrity of the hair. Precision cutting. Bridal that holds for twelve hours.
What does not exist is the record. Without it, every new client has to take the risk on faith, and every new student has to guess what they are buying.
So we build the record: one transformation at a time, in her language, with the technique visible. A client sees the risk handled. A stylist sees a method. A salon owner sees a coach. The same body of proof sells to all three.

01
Hair history, condition, what has been attempted before. The diagnosis is the first proof of expertise.
02
The formula, the sectioning, the timing, the reason for every choice. Documented, not remembered.
03
The result in daylight, on camera, with the client's own words and what maintenance actually costs.

A brand that promises a raised standard cannot be met by a room that looks like every other room. LNI is where the claim is verified, by a client sitting in the chair and by a salon owner who came to see if the coaching is real.
The redesign is not decoration. Every change has a job: make the expertise visible before anyone says a word about it.
The room should feel like her: precise, warm, unhurried.
It should photograph well enough to sell the next appointment.
It should work for a coaching visit without becoming a showroom.
01
Sitting down before any service. Diagnosis first, price second. The expert is established in the first five minutes.
02
The instrument made visible. A working station that looks like what it is: a laboratory for hair.
03
Rendering and colour temperature that flatter and reveal. The result should look on camera the way it looks in the mirror.
04
One wall, one chair, one light that turns every finished transformation into content the same day.
05
Nashi Argan integrated into the treatment and the consultation, not stacked at the till.
06
The right service, the right stylist, the right expectation before the appointment starts.
Nessa already teaches. She is an official Mounir educator, trained in Dubai, with masterclasses that sell out and waiting lists that form on their own. The demand is proven. What is missing is ownership: her name on the door, and a structure that can hold more than one date a year.
The Academy is a joint venture between Nessa and EvolutionLabs. She teaches. We build the house around the teaching, and share what it earns.
An educator with a waiting list is one decision away from an academy.
That decision is not more teaching. It is a structure that makes the teaching repeatable.
Corrective colour, blonding, toning, consultation and transformation. Written from her own cases, not from a supplier deck.
One day masterclass in Heerlen. In-salon team training. A longer certification track for stylists who want the specialism.
Nessa owns the teaching and the standard. EvolutionLabs builds the brand, pricing, funnel, waitlists and operations.
An academy is a standard, not a date. Graduates carry her method and send the next cohort back to her.
First market: the Netherlands. Second: the international circuit she already teaches in.
A salon owner's income depends on hours in the chair. An educator's depends on dates in the calendar. Both stop when she does. The house has to earn from all three audiences at once, with one standard behind them.
The role of the persona, the record and the room is not aesthetic. Each one makes the next stream possible, and each one lets the other two charge more.
The chair pays the bills and proves the method.
The academy earns when she is not holding a scissors.
The coaching turns her commercial knowledge into a product.
A strong name lowers the cost of selling all three.
The goal is a name that can be booked, attended and hired.
The chair
Clients
Signature colour correction and precision work at LNI, priced for the expertise instead of the hour.
The academy
Stylists
Masterclasses, in-salon training and certification, sold per seat and per team.
The coaching
Salon owners
Salon coaching and Nashi Argan implementation, sold as a programme and a retainer.
Key metric
Income per hour of her voice
Teaching one room of twelve stylists should not earn what twelve clients earn. It should earn more, and it should be repeatable.
Sequence matters. Recognition first, then proof, then the room, then the academy.
One name, one line, one signature discipline.
Editorial photography and case studies, transformation by transformation.
LNI redesigned as the physical argument in Heerlen.
First own-branded cohort, with EvolutionLabs as joint venture partner.
A curriculum that travels and coaching that repeats across salons.
The academy does not go first. It goes last, when the proof and the room make the price obvious.
Everything here is built to be lived in, not launched. A stage, not a campaign.
The chair was never the ceiling.
Nessa has already done the hardest part: two decades of practice, an international teaching seat, a salon and a team trained inside her standard.
What she has not had is a structure that carries it further than her own day. That is the build: the stage, the proof, the room and the academy. Recognition that finally matches the record.

Next case
That is usually a naming problem before it is a marketing one. We start there.
